Father’s Day Edition
Hey it’s Sophie. That is me, earlier today, drinking an Asian Lager from Singapore. I didn’t travel to southern Malaysia, but I did catch the city cat to Eat Street Market in Hamilton, a place where every foodie’s dreams are fulfilled.
This venue was converted from a former shipping container wharf and is now home to over seventy street food vendors where one can experience cuisine from Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, North America, South America, and the Ocean.
Naturally, Eat Street would be my Dad’s first pick of places to visit on his special day, American Father’s Day ( I have to be specific now that I am an Aussie). Dad is the biggest foodie in the house, and here is a picture to prove it.
Father’s Menu: A Plethora of Ethnic Food
- Churros + Chicken Pad Thai + Lamb Slider + Fish & Chips + Squid Paella
We were way in over our heads with this combo; but needless to say, the food was delish, and the atmosphere was lively.
To end this post, here is a video I took of a hip hop group, second beer in.
Love you Dad and PSA the legal drinking age is 18 … let’s have some fun
Great post Sophie. And Aussie food – fish and chips lol. Looks like Dad had a great day and he gets another one later in the year.
Thanks Rhonda! We think she did a great job writing this post! Can’t wait to see you next week!
